Hiram J. Faircloth, M.S., NCC, Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Dr. Paul Hard, Ph.D., LPC-S Supervising Counselor.

Mr. Faircloth describes himself as an integrative counselor and draws on elements from Developmental Counseling Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness based approaches. He is graduate of Troy University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, and holds a Master's of Science in Counseling and Psychology. He is a Nationally Certified Counselor, and is currently an Associate Licensed Counselor in the state of Alabama under the supervision of Dr. Paul Hard, Ph.D., NCC, LPC-S Supervising Counselor. Hiram has prior experience providing therapeutic services in community mental health, university counseling center, and inpatient behavioral hospital settings. He has conducted individual, family, and group therapy and has presented for professional counseling organizations on End of Life Issues with Late Stage Adults and Sexual Minority Issues including Identity and Relationship Development.

Dr. Faircloth is a self identified Neo-Freudian and was trained in many theories and modalities including dream analysis. He is fluent in over 20 different therapeutic theories (He has taught the Graduate course Theories of Counseling for many years). In brief, Dr. Faircloth has worked in private practice, community, agency and university settings for over fifteen years as a clinician, supervisor and researcher. He has conducted individual, couple, family, and group counseling, supervision, research, and/or presented on the following areas: End of Life Issues with Later Stage Adults, Positive Ethics, Gender & Career Issues, Police and Military Issues, Masculinity Issues, Assessment and Testing Issues, Trauma and Grief Issues, Attachment Issues, Bullying/Cyber bullying Issues, Suicidality, child and adolescent attachment issues, Infant Mental Health, students at-risk in K-12, gerontological counseling, LGBT+ and BDSM issues–, individual and group counseling with children and adolescents on the Autism/Asperger's Spectrum, Corporate and Personal Sustainability.
