It is the policy and commitment of Insight Mental Health, LLC that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, sex, national origin, physical or mental disability, religion, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexuality, veteran-status, or genetic information (including family medical history).

Discriminatory Harassment

Harassment or intimidation of a client, staff person, or guest because of that person’s race, age, color, sex, national origin, physical or mental disability, religion, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexuality, veteran-status, or genetic information (including family medical history) is specifically prohibited and may be grounds for termination. Harassment and intimidation includes abusive, foul or threatening language or behavior. Insight Mental Health, LLC is committed to maintaining a workplace that is free from any such harassment and will not tolerate discrimination against staff members, volunteers, or agency clients.

Employees, volunteers, or agency clients will not be punished for reporting discrimination, participating in a discrimination investigation, or lawsuit opposing discrimination. Insight Mental Health, LLC will protect the confidentiality of employees, volunteers, or agency clients who report discrimination or who participate in a discrimination investigation, to the greatest possible extent.

Issues of discriminatory treatment, harassment, or intimidation on any of these bases should immediately be reported to the managing member of Insight Mental Health, LLC, immediate supervisor and/or ABEC; If substantiated, prompt action will be taken.

COMPLAINTS

We encourage all clients to address complaints or concerns that they may have regarding their treatment with their regular therapist. If you feel your complaint cannot be resolved with your regular therapist, you can contact the managing member of Insight Mental Health, LLC, Mr. Hiram Faircloth directly at (334)-465-9990.

In the event you feel your complaint cannot be resolved after speaking to the managing member, and/or if you believe your complaint is an issue related to the laws or ethics that govern the profession and practice of counseling in the state of Alabama, you can contact the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling (ABEC).
